We might finally have a cure for jet lag. Researchers in Japan came up with a drug that resets your internal clock and moves it forward. They’ve only tested it in mice but say it could be a game-changer…………. A 13-year-old boy in Australia is being hailed a hero after making a “superhuman” swim to save his family. He was in a kayak, and his mom and two siblings were on paddleboards. The wind blew them out to sea, so he tried paddling back to the beach for help, but his kayak took on water and sunk. He swam for FOUR HOURS, about 2.5 miles, and while he had a life jacket on, he ditched it halfway through because it was slowing him down. His family was over eight miles out when rescuers found them. Thanks to him, they’re all okay……..And finally…………
Billionaire investor Tom Kaplan has the largest private collection of Rembrandt works, and on Wednesday he auctioned one off for a good cause. It’s a sketch of a lion called “Young Lion Resting“ from around the year 1640 and it went for $17.9 million at a Sotheby’s auction in New York. Proceeds are going to a conservation group called Panthera that helps protect lions, tigers, and other big cats.
