A Pensacola, FL woman went missing last week, and cops brought in a pretty unique consultant . . . an otter named Splash that helps missing people. Dogs have a great sense of smell, and otters can do the same thing by “tasting” different scents. He’s trained to find people in water. They actually found the woman without him, and she’s okay, but his handlers say he’s been involved in over 20 other searches, and found six missing people………………. ND man Casey Chapman, recently bought a house in Fargo, and he found something in it he never expected. Contractors were redoing the floors, and pulled up a floorboard with an old newspaper under it for padding, and Casey’s MOM was on the cover. It was an issue of “The Fargo Forum” from 1946. His mom was homecoming queen at North Dakota State that year, and the paper covered it. He says finding it felt like she was looking down and giving him a big “thumbs up” on the house he bought…………….And finally………….
There was a story last week about a car in Philly that got encased in ice after a water main broke. Now there’s a great update about it. Fifth-grade teacher Tianna Graham owns the 2016 Honda Civic, and she needed a new ride, so the company Carvana helped her out. They surprised her the other day with a 2022 Honda Civic, and loaded it up with school supplies. As a joke, they tossed an ice pick in there too. An online campaign has also raised over 10K grand to help her out. (Here’s a video she posted of the surprise.)
