A four-eared kitten in Alabama is a hit online and should have a forever home soon. He’s seven months old, and his name is Dobby. A volunteer at a place called Kitty Kat Haven has been fostering him. He needs surgery to correct an overbite. But other than that . . . and the double-ear thing . . . he’s perfectly healthy. A ton of people have reached out to adopt him. (Here’s a photo.)……… Two guys in Michigan broke a world record . . . and raised money for charity . . . by playing pickleball for 28 hours straight. Brad Haverkamp and Caleb Dang went for the record in November. Now it’s official………..And finally………………..
Two dogs were rescued by a plow driver on Long Island during the height of the recent blizzard. Kenny McGowan, a Department of Public Works employee, was out plowing roads when he spotted the dogs running down the highway. He followed them in his vehicle for about a mile where he was able to safely block traffic so the animals were away from any possible harm. McGowan then called a coworker, who came with a leash, and they were able to get the dogs into a truck. They were taken to an animal shelter where staff discovered one of the dogs had a microchip. Sisters Harper and Heidi were reunited with their owners in less than a day.
