He’d been colorblind his whole life, but in December, his son got him a pair of special colorblind glasses for Christmas . . . thanks to a bonus from his employer. (Here’s video.)………….A father-son duo in Alabama just made history. Jimmy Rush, who recently turned 80, walked into Wintzell’s Oyster House in Mobile with his 99-year-old father to finally redeem a legendary offer that’s hanging on a sign in the restaurant: “Free oysters to any man 80 years old accompanied by his father.”………..And finally…………..
After suffering a stroke that left him struggling to speak, a Rhode Island man named Rich McMahon focused his recovery around saying one simple thing . . . his favorite Dunkin’ coffee order. The stroke happened October 11, 2025, and doctors weren’t sure if Rich would ever walk independently or hold a conversation again, but Rich and his family were determined that he would recover. His wife began documenting Rich’s progress online with an account called Chaos to Comeback. Rich used his coffee order as a therapy assignment, repeating it over and over, and when Dunkin’ saw his journey online, they surprised Rich with a year of free coffee and Opening Day tickets to the Red Sox.
