In 2024, a motorcycle accident left a student named Vhan McGuire paralyzed. Vhan is an avid hiker and camper, so losing his mobility really hurt, but a group of Tennessee Tech engineering students came to the rescue. They built him a custom all-terrain wheelchair called “The Chariot.” It’s designed to handle rugged outdoor terrain, so now Vhan has the independence to get back to the life he loved.
