A simple rooster worth about $70 at auction turned into a powerful act of generosity in Alabama. The owner was from a local family that had a critically ill baby, so instead of buying and taking it for the $70 it was worth, buyers repeatedly re-donated it and it was sold over and over. That brought the price of the sale to over $5,300 in a matter of minutes, which is a lifeline for this family in need.
