A new technology can pull clean drinking water out of thin air, even in desert conditions. The system captures water vapor from extremely dry air and releases it as “near-distilled water during daily temperature changes”. The devices are roughly the size of a 20-foot shipping container, but each unit could produce up to 1,000 liters a day . . . which is enough for about 500 people’s drinking needs. The company says they’re ready to start taking orders this year……………..A 4-year-old piano prodigy from the D.C. area is set to make history as one of the youngest musicians ever to perform at Carnegie Hall. Michael Girgis has had less than a year of lessons . . . but has already won multiple international competitions. Spirit pilot Jon Jackson was supposed to have his final, “retirement flight” on Saturday, but the airline shut down hours before, meaning he missed it by one day. He flew back home on Southwest as a passenger, with his son, and it could’ve been anticlimactic . . . but Southwest caught wind of it, and they set it up so that he had a mini-retirement party with THEIR staff at the arrival gate. They hollered for a speech, and Jon said, “Very overwhelming. I can’t thank you all enough. As Spirit goes down, this is a sad day, and you guys made it incredible.
