FL man Luis Salazar found $30,000 in a fanny pack in the bathroom of a Wawa. It was hung on the handrail inside the stall, and when he went outside, no one was around looking for it. Luis spent days trying to find the rightful owner, and said he never considered keeping it because, quote, “It wasn’t mine to take.” The owner did eventually report it missing, and connected with Luis, who handed it over. Luis got a hug out of it, and the owner wants to take him to dinner. The money had been gathered together for a family emergency…………… Scientists have created a free, interactive 3D map of the human body. You can start with an organ and zoom in to almost a cellular level. And all from a web browser. The atlas already includes 65 organs in the database, both healthy and sick. They’re saying this technology can help improve medical education and research………………And finally…………..
Chattanooga Police Officer Eli Rogers is being hailed as a HERO. He was the first to arrive at the scene of an apartment fire earlier this month, and when he heard people were still inside, he didn’t hesitate. Officer Rogers kicked down the door . . . ran in . . . and rescued a mother and her two children from the fire. And he was even ready to go back in if needed. In the end, luckily, no one was hurt.
