A nonprofit called the Montana Bar Fairies is going viral for rewarding people who make the safe choice not to drive after drinking. Volunteers are leaving $5 coffee gift cards under the windshield wipers of cars left overnight at bars, thanking the owners for getting a ride home instead of risking a DUI…….. …………..People use smartwatches and other tech to track activity and biometrics, but the skin contact can be disrupted by sweat, being bumped or rubbing loose. Now scientists have created a wearable you can paint directly onto your skin . . . like a temporary tattoo. It tracks muscle activity, heart rate, and even brain waves. Testing is still underway, but researchers hope this could make life easier and less intimidating for kids who need long-term medical monitoring. A Kansas City police officer, JP Young, kept a promise to a cancer survivor after her e-bike was stolen on Mother’s Day. A month later he spotted the bike that was now spray-painted and helped return it. The woman was relying on the bike to get to oncology appointments, and said the officer was just as excited as she was when she got it back. And the good news didn’t stop there . . . a local cycling group offered to repair her bike for free.
