Three women in Houston were in a car that flew off an overpass and landed upside down on a freeway . . . but luckily, they all survived, thanks to the help of others. They were trapped inside, so strangers stopped their cars and ran over to help, using sledgehammers, poles, and even their bare hands to try to pry the car open. The women were eventually freed by firefighters and taken to the hospital, and all three are expected to survive. The work is still in the research stage, but scientists are hopeful that this could one day prevent or reverse vision loss…………..And finally…………….
“Toy Story 5” has been bringing joy to sick children around the world thanks to a partnership between Disney and the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Disney has gifted more than 18,000 toys and 34,000 character-inspired hospital gowns. The film was also shown in 400 children’s hospitals around the world, and at the movie’s L.A. premiere, there was a new initiative where cast members and red carpet guests could leave messages of encouragement for the kids from a Star Command terminal using a life-size Lilypad. Tim Allen, Greta Lee, Tony Hale, Conan O’Brien, and Joan Cusack all participated, and the video messages were shown at hospitals in Washington, D.C., Oakland, and Orlando, along with surprise visits from Woody and Jessie.
