A young girl left her childhood stuffed animal, named “Rosie,” at a Four Seasons hotel in Italy. The staff found her, and gave her the full VIP treatment before sending her home. They even included a long handwritten letter from “Rosie,” along with a PHOTO SHOOT of Rosie at the hotel. (There’s a TikTok sharing the story. The staff clearly had fun with it.)………………………A guy named David in New York City just turned a simple cleanup project into a neighborhood movement. David committed to cleaning one street block in Washington Heights every day for 100 days, and it wasn’t just picking up the litter. He spent his own money to plant flowers and put planters on the street. David was amazed by how much it changed the neighborhood and gave his neighbors pride. He said, “I could have picked up trash my whole life, but instead I want to give people a reason not to litter.”……………….And finally…………….
Sverre Vinje, a 102-year-old WW2 veteran, went viral after singing “God Bless America” at a Milwaukee Brewers game on Friday, September 11. He was there with other WW2 vets, thanks to the nonprofit Vets Roll. Sverre’s moment in the spotlight happened during the 7th inning stretch, and the crowd went crazy, cheering and singing along, then gave him a standing ovation.
