Always be kind and spread love wherever you can.”…………..Oregon couple Diane and Brian Johnsen were facing financial hardship when they got a complete heating and cooling system installed, valued at about $16,000, for free. A 90-pound dog named Otto was rescued after falling down a steep cliff in Washington state. He was stranded about 30 feet below the top. A policeman climbed down the unstable terrain full of loose dirt and tangled ivy to reach the dog . . . and then stayed with him for hours while rescue crews worked on a plan. The Washington State Animal Response Team brought in specialized equipment, and rescuers used a rope system anchored to a pickup truck to carefully lift Otto to safety. Otto was uninjured and reunited with his family. (Here’s a news report.)
