A 15-year-old and his 14-year-old brother are heroes after spotting a grandmother and her two grandkids struggling in a retention pond. They first helped pull the grandmother and a 4-year-old to safety, then realized a 2-year-old was still trapped in a stroller underwater. The older brother lifted the toddler out and helped clear his airway while his younger brother called 911. The brothers, Maddox and Grant, stayed with the family as first responders took over. Police and firefighters near Carmel, Indiana say the brothers’ quick thinking saved the younger child’s life. (Here’s a news report.)
