It’s summer and everything is biting. But you actually have to go fishing to catch fish. The Spanish are hitting on Gotcha plugs, and Clark spoons. The Kings are good on ribbon fish and menhaden. Flounder drum trout and croakers are great on squid, shrimp and cut bait.
The fresh water bite is amazing at sunrise and sunset. Bass on topwater is really good. Scum frogs and filthy frogs are great baits and completely weedless.
Go fishing now, call in sick, and take a kid fishing.
