Due to the overwhelming response for the announced EAGLES’ 2018 tour dates, 13 more “An Evening with the Eagles” concerts have been added to the band’s 2018 tour, which kicks off on March 12 in Indianapolis, Indiana. New shows include April 11 in Charlotte at the Spectrum Center; and April 17 in Raleigh at the PNC Arena.  Tickets for these newly announced concerts go on sale Friday, December 15 at 10 AM local time through LiveNation.com, the venue box offices, Ticketmaster or by phone 800-745-3000.

In January, at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, a documentary about JOAN JETT, called “Bad Reputation”, will make its debut.

The FOO FIGHTERS will be the music guest on SNL on December 16.

Director BRYAN SINGER has been fired from the  QUEEN  movie, “Bohemian Rhapsody”.  They say he was exhibiting troubling behavior on-set, including clashes with star RAMI MALEK.  But Singer says he was punished for taking time off to tend to an ailing parent.  And now, the QUEEN movie has a new director, Dexter Fletcher.  (Full Story)

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS have announced some 2018 tour dates with their new singer JEFF GUTT.  He’s 41, so he’s always been a big fan himself.  He says, quote, “It’s like joining the Led Zeppelin of my generation.  I feel like I’m living in a movie.”  (Billboard)

BON JOVI won the fan vote for the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . . . and while it’s not binding, the winner of the fan vote has ALWAYS gotten in.  Bon Jovi was followed by the Moody BluesDire StraitsThe Cars, and Judas Priest.

Coming on March 9 – “Both Sides Of The Sky”, a new JIMI HENDRIX album. The set features 13 tracks, 10 of which are previously unreleased. (Full story)

WHITESNAKE has a couple irons in the fire. A new studio album, tentatively titled “Flesh and Blood”, will be out early next year, and on January 19, the band will release “The Purple Tour (Live)”. The live set will feature tunes recorded during the tour that followed the release of :”The Purple Album”, which saw DAVID COVERDALE revisiting his time with DEEP PURPLE.
