JUDAS PRIEST guitarist GLENN TIPTON has been forced to bow out of the band’s upcoming tour, due to Parkinson’s disease.  He was diagnosed a decade ago.  But ROB HALFORD says he’s NOT out of the band.

Another story of Parkinson’s disease involves drummer and founding member of MR. BIG, PAT TORPEY. He passed away on February 7 at the age of 64 from complications of Parkinson’s.

If you’re buying concert tickets on the cheap – make sure you get what you really want. A British guy thought he got cheap tickets to see the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS . . . but just days before the show, he realized they were tickets to see a BAGPIPE band called the RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS. 

In case you missed the news, FOGHAT bassist CRAIG MACGREGOR died on Friday, 2/9. He was 68.

Set to be released on August 14, “27: The Legend and Mythology of the 27 Club”, has Simmons “examining sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll from the inside, and answering our enduring questions… Why do we find ourselves obsessed with the untimely deaths of the famous and the infamous? Is the 27 club just a compelling urban legend? What does age 27 really mean for our most beautiful and damned?”

April 6 is the release date for RAINBOW’S “Memories in Rock II”. The package features a two-CD set of the band’s June 2017 shows in the U.K., a new tune, and a DVD packed with interviews and more.
