LYNYRD SKYNYRD will play their final show on September 2nd in Jacksonville, Florida, where they got together in 1964.  KID ROCK and JASON ALDEAN are the opening acts.

The ROLLING STONES won’t drink before their tour kickoff in Dublin on May 17th.

BILLY GIBBONS of ZZ TOP is working on a couple projects. One is his second solo album, and the other is new music from the MOVING SIDEWALKS band.

U2 have an app so that fans WILL hold their cell phones in front of their faces at concerts.  Basically, you just point your phone at an LED screen, and supposedly it gives you some sort of cool visual “experience.”

DAVE GROHL offered to adopt a 20-year-old in the audience at a FOO FIGHTERS gig who held up a sign saying, “No Dad – Be Mine?”

NEIL YOUNG AND CRAZY HORSE announced their first shows together since 2014.

LARS ULRICH threw out the first pitch and KIRK HAMMETT played the national anthem, as the San Francisco Giants held their sixth annual METALLICA Night at AT&T Park Monday night.

EDDIE MONEY is 69, but he’s not thinking about retiring.  He says, quote, “I feel very fortunate that I’m still doing what I’m doing.  I’m gonna stop when I’m rich, and I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen.”

FLEETWOOD MAC announced 52 tour dates stretching from this coming fall to next spring.  They also say they “hit a brick wall” with LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM, because he wanted to push the tour back a whole year.
