The piano JOHN LENNON used to write songs for the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album is hitting the auction block. 

The family of TOM PETTY is in ongoing battle over the singer’s estate and works. It appears that the release of an expanded version of Wildflowers may be on hold because of a legal battle between the singer’s widow and his two daughters. You can catch TOM PETTY‘s final on-camera interview in the music documentary “Echo in the Canyon”, due out May 24, 2019. GUNS N’ ROSES have announced their first show of 2019. They will headline the 2019 Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville in September. 

OZZY OSBOURNE postponed all his upcoming tour dates after falling and apparently reaggravating an injury he suffered when he wrecked his ATV 15 years ago, and almost killed himself. The June 4 date in Charlotte for this year has been rescheduled for June 2, 2020.  Meanwhile, JACK OSBOURNE is okay after being sucker-punched by a homeless guy at a coffee shop.

MICK JAGGER reportedly already underwent heart valve replacement surgery. A source says everything went well, and he could be released within the next few days.

VAN HALEN singer DAVID LEE ROTH is back with a reboot of his online series “The Roth Show”, but this time, he’s doing it as a podcast. 

The QUEEN musical “We Will Rock You” is coming back to North America in the fall. In other news, QUEEN drummer ROGER TAYLOR released a new solo track called Gangsters are Running This World.  

THE EAGLES will perform the “Hotel California” album in its entirety at two shows in Vegas in September.  They’ve never done it before.  The album came out 43 years ago, in 1976. 

 GREEN DAY wrote a graphic novel that they’re describing as, quote, “an inspiring homage and handbook for the rebellious everywoman who refuses to capitulate.”
