Live Nation admitted that it has worked with METALLICA and other bands to sell concert tickets directly on the secondary market without giving fans a chance to buy them at face value. Basically, they’re scalping THEIR OWN tickets, which increases their profits and cuts the actual scalpers out of the equation.  And there’s actually nothing illegal about it.  The problem is, it feels shady, and it’s not a good look for an artist or their brand. If you are a fan of the band, METALLICA jigsaw puzzles are on the way. ALICE COOPER will release Breadcrumbs, “a tribute to the garage rock heroes from his hometown Detroit city”, on September 13. It’s a six track EP.

RONNIE WOOD of the ROLLING STONES is working on a new solo album, and there’s also a documentary about his life on the way in October.

ALICE IN CHAINS frontman WILLIAM DUVALL has a solo project set for release October 4.

Rhino Records has a BLACK SABBATH vinyl box set ready for release on September 6. Titled The Vinyl Collection 1970-1978,  it features eight OZZY-era albums. You can pre-order it here.
