Engineers at M.I.T. have come up with a cheap, reusable rubber face mask that’s just as effective as N95 masks.  They still use little disks of N95 material as filters, and those have to be thrown out.  But it’s much less wasteful.  And the rest of the mask can be sterilized and reused. Clorox is donating $1 million to help make sure teachers have all the supplies they need when the new school year starts up. Because of all the social distancing, no one’s getting the flu.  It’s the middle of winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and cases are way down.  For example, Australia had 22,000 confirmed cases in the last two weeks of June last year – this year, only 85. And finally…..
