Last week, PAUL MCCARTNEY called THE ROLLING STONES, quote, “a blues cover band.”  Well MICK JAGGER responded during the band’s L.A. show on Thursday night. He said, quote, “There are so many celebrities here tonight . . . Paul McCartney is here . . .he’s going to help us . . . he’s going to join us in a blues cover later on.”  (Check out the video here, from 0:20 to 0:24″) It’s unclear if Paul was ACTUALLY at the show, or if it was just Mick’s way of acknowledging those recent comments. It wasn’t the first time he’s responded to comments from Paul.  Last year, Mick said, quote, “He’s a sweetheart.  There’s obviously no competition . . . The big difference, though, is that the Stones is a big concert band in other decades and areas . . . “When the BEATLES never even did an arena tour, Madison Square Garden with a decent sound system.  They broke up before that business started, the touring business for real.”  

PAUL STANLEY is grieving the loss of his guitar tech Francis Stueber, who died of COVID-19. He was 52, and the two had worked together for 20 years.
