There’s a JUDAS PRIEST graphic novel coming in July. It coincides with the anniversary of the release of the Screaming For Vengeance album.

LOLLAPALOOZA‘s lineup includes METALLICA, DUA LIPA, GREEN DAY, and DOJA CAT.  JANE’S ADDICTION is going to be a special guest.  The festival is July 28th to the 31st, and tickets are already on sale. 

AC/DC‘s “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” was inspired by English poet Robert Graves.  ANGUS YOUNG says, quote, “I think he had a book out or a story and it was, ‘For those about to die,’ and he went into a day in the Coliseum.” Graves did do a translation of The Twelve Caesars, which is a 2,000-year-old biography on the first emperors of Rome, and contains the line, “Hail, Emperor, those who are about to die salute you.”  

MARK TREMONTI from CREED and ALTER BRIDGE is releasing an album of FRANK SINATRA covers. He worked with surviving members of Frank’s orchestra, and has gifted this album to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), using all proceeds to help fund NDSS give the gift of music to children with developmental disabilities.
