A family of ducklings started walking across a highway in Washington state on Monday.  So a group of people pulled over, stopped traffic, and helped them across.  Cars were moving again within about 10 minutes………………..The New York Public Library is giving away half-a-million books this summer.  It’s partly to help kids stay busy and productive. In addition to the giveaway, the library is also hosting free youth programs throughout the summer, including story times, reading challenges, and writing contests. It will also offer adult workshops for technology training, job search aid and more…………And finally…………… 

A 100-year-old World War Two vet in New York checked something off his bucket list by throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game. Former Army medic Henry Levy was honored at a Men’s Senior Baseball League game on Sunday. He’d wanted to ever since he saw 85-year-old Yogi Berra do it at a Yankees game in 2010.
