Sony Music announced the release of Roger Waters The Lockdown Sessions across all digital music partners. The collection of songs were recorded and filmed at home during the Covid lockdown between 2020 and 2021.  Also included with the release is “Comfortably Numb 2022”which was recorded during Waters This Is Not A Drill North American tour.

The official music video for a recently discovered QUIET RIOT track, “I Can’t Hold On”, features the late Kevin DuBrow and the late Frankie Banali, along with current band members, bassist Rudy Sarzo and Alex Grossi on guitars. The video is a tribute to DuBrow and Banali. 

Rage Against the Machine bassist Tim Commerford is battling prostate cancer.  He found out two months before Rage was supposed to start their reunion tour in July, and had his prostate removed.

The M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD is set for May 6 and May 7, 2023. The line-up includes: STYX, WARRANT, EXTREME, WINGER, KIX, SLAUGHTER, LITA FORD, FIREHOUSE, BRITNY FOX, QUIET RIOT and more.

Esoteric will release a STEPPENWOLF box set, “The Epic Years 1974-1976”, on January 27, 2023. 

PANTERA will be one of eight headliners at next year’s edition of the Blue Ridge Rock Festival, set to take place September 7-10, 2023 in Alton, Virginia.

CANDLEBOX performed the theme song for the charity This Time Tomorrow Foundation for a live audience last month and helped raise almost $400,000.
