Jason Bonham may have discovered some previously unreleased Led Zeppelin material. 

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo recorded backup vocals for the first time for their upcoming album.  He said he’s proud of it because when he joined the band back in 2003, he’d never sung before. “72 Seasons” comes out April 14th. 

After almost three decades, a new Pete Townshend solo track has been released. “Can’t Outrun the Truth” was inspired by reflections of solitude during the pandemic, and was written and produced by Rachel Fuller, a pop artist, songwriter and coincidentally, Townshend’s wife. A portion of the proceeds from this single will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust, a favorite charity of the Who. 

U2 guitarist The Edge says they’re going to kick-start a “resurgence of guitars” in mainstream music.  He said, “We are turning the amps on . . . the rock that we all grew up . . . we’d love to connect back into.”

A hundred drummers got together in Belgium to play the Foo Fighters’ “My Hero”, to pay tribute to Taylor Hawkins on the anniversary of his death.
