Pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau recently gave TN teen Evan Hayes a day he and his family will never forget. Evan, a golf fan and player, is battling an aggressive form of leukemia, and DeChambeau not only flew Evan and his family out to Texas and covered their hotel stay but also opened his home to them. The two chipped balls on the backyard putting greens, then Evan got clothes, golf balls, and autographed items. The family was treated to meals, and a round of golf at Grapevine Golf Course, and DeChambeau even personally drove them to the airport. On April 17, Evan’s mother shared that his leukemia had progressed and that he’s now receiving palliative and hospice care, with his family focused on giving him meaningful experiences.
