Want to win a brand new Cub Cadet lawn tractor? Of course you do, and we can make that happen!

The 2025 Father’s Day Mow-Off will be Saturday, June 14th, starting at 10am at B&B Outdoor Power on Highway 70 in Newport. Our competitors will race riding mowers down the field, jump off and use a leaf blower to blow three golf balls into a box, then race back. (It’s all about your skills with a leaf blower – trust us on this.)

Our winner this year will take home a Cub Cadet ZT1-42 zero turn mower, valued at $3429.99!!! 2nd place will win a Dewalt battery powered blower and edger, valued at over $400 and a $25 Bojangles gift card. Everyone who competes will win a WSFL t-shirt, and we’ll have free lunch and soft drinks available for everyone, so bring your appetite. The hospitality of the B&B crew is legendary. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, or even a tent for some shade if you’d like.

On June 11 at noon, we will randomly select up to 10 people who have submitted an online entry, and they will be invited to join us at the Father’s Day Mow-Off. If you are chosen, you will recieve a phone call and/or email.

If you’re not already signed up to compete by June 14th, there will be one FINAL opportunity to get in on the race – join us at B&B on Saturday the 14th between 10am and 11am, and drop your name in the box for a chance to be a last minute participant.

All competitors must be 18 or older, live in the over the air listening area of WSFL, and must wear closed toe shoes at the event. No Crocs or sandals. Participants must be checked in with ID by 11am in order to complete.
