University of Maryland Medical Center surgeons recently found a woman’s tumor thanks to a mistake the MRI technician made. They already knew she had a brain tumor, but the tech positioned the camera a little lower than necessary, and they spotted a second tumor on her neck.  If they hadn’t caught it, it would have kept growing and left her paralyzed.  It happened last year, and they removed both tumors using a new technique to go in through her eye socket to get the second one, but now a year later, there’s no sign of cancer in her body……….. A family in France found out a small sculpture they’d been keeping next to their family photos was worth a small fortune. They thought it was a reproduction of a Rodin, but it was the real deal.  It’s from the early 1890s and just sold at auction for $984,000……………….And finally………….

A PA kid called 911 last week but nothing was wrong.  He’s on the spectrum, and just wanted to say hi to some cops he met at a school assembly, so they showed up at his house and took a photo with him. They also talked to him about when you should and shouldn’t call 911.  The kid’s mom praised them for being so kind.  She said “he loves the police and fire departments so much.”
