A cat in Scotland named Kiki is in the news because she insists on walking her owners’ daughter to school every morning . . . then waits on the playground all day . . . and walks her home…………………..A 45-year-old high school coach in NY had a heart attack and collapsed at a soccer game this month, but he survived after the other team’s coach sprinted in to help, then three people who knew CPR started working on him, while others ran to grab an A.E.D. machine from the school.  They used it to shock him three times, and he came to about 10 minutes after he collapsed.  He was in the hospital for a week, but got home just in time to celebrate Father’s Day with his family……………….And finally………….

12-year-old Texas kid Yuvi Agarwal goes to animal shelters and plays music for dogs.  In 2023, when he was 10, he noticed it had a calming effect on his own dog, so he thought other dogs might like it too.  With a little research, Yuvi discovered that music lowers stress hormones in pets, allowing them to relax and more easily connect with humans. Since then, he’s been working to share the program and help as many pets as possible. He looped in other musicians and started a charity called Wild Tunes.  They’re now performing at nine different shelters in Houston, Denver, and New Jersey.  (Here’s a video.)
