A NY GameStop was recently in the news after a bunch of Nintendo Switch 2’s got ruined, because an employee stapled receipts directly to the boxes.  Some of the staples went through the box and into console’s screen, which they replaced, but now GameStop is auctioning off the first Nintendo Switch 2 that got stapled . . . along with the staple, and stapler that did it . . . and giving all the money to charity. The auction is on eBay, with proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Last we checked, the high bid was $250,000…… Matt Gobey,  an Ottawa firefighter, is recovering after another firefighter he works with gave him part of her liver.  His donor, Genna McMillan, said that the rule for firefighters is no one gets left behind. “When I got to see Matt feeling better and up and walking around, it made any discomfort I was going through totally worth it and that’s what it was all about. I would highly recommend it.”……………..And finally………………..

Climbers in Hawaii rescued a goat that was stranded on the side of a cliff for a week.  She was 120 feet up with no way down.  Once they got her off the cliff, a guy carried her down a path on his back. An animal rescue place took her in, and she’s in good health.  It turns out she’s PREGNANT.  They’re accepting donations to help pay for everything.  They’re calling it their “GOAT Fund Me” campaign.
