Say hello to Bugzy! Bugzy is a 5-year-old male labrador retriever with the lab characteristics of being affectionate, friendly, curious, loyal, quiet, and handsome. He is neutered and housetrained. Bugzy was brought to the shelter on April 21, 2025 when his family could no longer keep him. Bugzy initially had a shy and quiet personality but is slowly opening up to people – he’s just a bit sad and down on his luck. He is a sweet boy who is loyal to those who care for him. Because he came in shy and unsure of shelter life, he may take some time to fully adjust to a new home with new people but rest assured he will be a loyal companion and is worth every minute you invest with him. Bugzy is a big boy full of love to give and is hoping to find his forever home soon. His sweetness will blossom once in a home where he feels a sense of security and love. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary.
