A TX dad is in the news for taking a big interest in his daughter’s favorite hobby.  Jayden Pollard is really into cheerleading, so he does it with her.  He lifts her up, literally and figuratively.  He flings her in the air and acts as the “base” for all her stunts.  They’ve gotten big on social media, with over seven million followers on TikTok.  His advice for other parents is be interested in what your kids are into, no matter what it is……. Eat your veggies!  A new study has found that daily consumption of 40 to 60 grams of “cruciferous vegetables,” like broccoli and cauliflower, can reduce the risk of colon cancer by 20% to 26%……………….And finally………….. 

Firefighters in Fort Lauderdale, FL saved a German shepherd that got stuck in a canal on August 5th, and when they scanned for a chip, they found out that she did indeed belong to someone.  Her name is Bella, and she went missing six years ago after a house fire and a series of mishaps.  Her family drove nearly four hours to reunite with Bella, who immediately recognized them. She’s now back home with her owners, safe and sound.
