Animal rescuers on Long Island saved a deer that got seriously tangled up in a soccer net.  The deer wasn’t too cooperative, and it took a while to cut all the netting away, but it eventually ran off into the woods.  (Here’s the video.)……………. A kid near Philadelphia is in the news because he’s got some serious smarts.  Nine-year-old Aiden Wilkins has skipped so many grades, he’s already a sophomore in high school.  He’s started taking neuroscience classes at a local college.  He says he wants to be a pediatric neurosurgeon someday…………….And finally……………. 

An AZ cow escaped from a slaughterhouse and won her freedom, and now she’s got a new home and might already have a boyfriend.  The escape happened a few weeks ago and footage of her running around a town near Phoenix went viral.  The owner of Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary got in touch with the slaughterhouse and asked how much it would cost to buy the cow.  They gave her 24 hours to come up with $2,500, so she reached out to donors, and raised it in half that time.  They named her Mootilda, and she’ll get to live out the rest of her life on a farm.  They’ve been posting videos and say she’s been spending quite a bit of time with a bull who lives on the farm named Adorabull.
