Some recent animal rescues have made the news:  Massachusetts cops used crackers to catch someone’s pet pig after it got out of its pen.  They joked that it showed some “serious CHOPS” on the run, but they got it back home, which made for a “PIGture-perfect day.”……Cops rescued a kitten from the engine compartment of a car near San Francisco, California. A doctor in the stands at a CA Little League baseball game recently helped resuscitate umpire Jeff Hiserodt after he suffered a heart attack.  Hiserodt collapsed near home plate, and within seconds, his colleagues and kids surrounded him. He had no pulse, so they yelled for help, and Jen Poole, a palliative care doctor at Cedars-Sinai, came down from the stands.  She says she performed CPR for 7-10 minutes, restarting his heart multiple times.  Hiserodt says he died but came back to life because of the off-duty doctor. He added that he’s glad the baseball gods weren’t done with him yet.
