An annual convention for furries happened in Pittsburgh last weekend.  It’s in the news after attendees donated over $89,000 to the charity Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue……….. A 72-year-old Montana woman got pinned under her riding mower for about four hours after it tipped over, but two 14-year-old boys saved her life.  She got pinned under the SIDE, not the blades, but she lives on a lake in a remote area, and no one else was there.  She says she felt like she was on her last breath when the two boys went by on their fishing boat and saw her.  It took five people to lift it off, and she spent four days in the hospital with a bruised ribcage and fractured spine, but she’s okay………………And finally…………….

Two lifeguards near Daytona Beach saved a white-tailed deer on Sunday.  It’s not clear how long the deer had been in the water, or where it came from, but it was close to drowning. They sprinted in, loaded it onto a rescue board, and saved its life . . . all while dealing with two SHARKS that were circling.  The deer was so tired, it didn’t struggle much.  They released it nearby, and it ran off. One of the lifeguards told a reporter that saving lives is what they do . . . whether it’s a human life, or a deer.
