A tortoise named Shelly who escaped from her family’s home in England was found more than two weeks later . . . three miles away . . . outside an ice cream parlor.  The only bad thing is that her owners say Shelly ruined her diet while on the run . . . possibly due to the ice cream……. A Southern California nonprofit says it rescued around 400 GUINEA PIGS from an L.A. property where they slept outside, without enough food and water.  The guinea pigs were taken to at least six different shelters across the city………And finally…………….. 

Dalton De Micheli is an eight-year-old Arizona Diamondbacks “superfan” and the team treated him to an unforgettable night, where he met a few players (including his favorite Corbin Carroll), and was left crying “happy tears.”  Dalton has endured multiple surgeries, after being born with a congenital heart defect.  The team heard about him when a TikTok went viral of him catching a game while on a plane with his family.  (Here’s more on the story.)
