A Texas man’s pet pigeon named Kevin is back home after going missing last weekend.  The guy owns an auto shop, and brings the pigeon to work with him.  A customer didn’t realize that Kevin . . . who’s blind . . . was in the bed of his truck when he picked it up.  Cops found the bird still in his truck in the driveway, and knocked on his door to let him know, then returned Kevin to his owner……………. A waitress near Vancouver, British Columbia interrupted her shift last Thursday to jump in the ocean and save a baby raccoon.  She heard it screaming, saw it go under, and didn’t hesitate.  Then after she saved it, she went back to taking orders.  The raccoon inhaled a lot of water and would have died, but the owner of a seaplane flew him to an animal rescue free of charge, and he pulled through.  They’ve been bottle feeding him and say he’s around two months old……………..And finally…………… 

A kid in England with cerebral palsy went to an ice rink with his parents, and a random stranger offered to help him take a spin on the ice for the very first time.  The guy said he was a hockey player and promised the parents he’d be safe, so they okayed it.  There’s a great video of the kid flying around the ice in his wheelchair.  He obviously had a blast.  (Here’s the video.)
