Today’s Good News 9-24-25

A 27-year-old TN man Zach Porter went into CARDIAC ARREST at a T.J. Maxx, but he’s alive today thanks to the quick thinking of CPR instructor Mike Brown.  Mike didn’t even want to be there . . . he was “reluctantly accompanying his wife on a shopping trip.”  It’s a good thing he was . . . he performed CPR to keep Zach going until paramedics arrived.  Another stranger also helped Zach out………………..Washington D.C. resident Zackary Battle was driving when he saw smoke pouring from a senior apartment complex, so he pulled over and ran inside.  Knowing first responders were on their way, he still ran upstairs to the third floor and heard a man pleading for help. His wife was bedridden and trapped inside their smoke-filled apartment.  Together, Zackary and the resident moved her to the stairwell just as firefighters rushed in, carrying her outside to a waiting ambulance. The woman’s husband said: “If he hadn’t came along while I was out in the hall and I saw the fire jumping out the window, I said, ‘Lord, have mercy. How am I going to get her out? And he said, ‘C’mon, man. We gotta get her out.’…………………And finally……………

27-year-old CA woman Dianna Morales was driving for Uber when she made a lasting connection with a 92-year-old rider, after he’d ordered a ride to church one day last year.  They exchanged numbers . . . and now she’s basically his personal driver whenever he needs a ride to run his weekly errands.  He even goes golfing with her family a couple times every month.  Initially he started paying her directly . . . but now, she doesn’t even charge him anymore.
