Weekdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on WSFL!

I’m on the air Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm, and I start my show with the Workforce Block at 10. It’s a giant stack of songs that come at you non-stop, and it’s almost a full hour of uninterrupted tunes. Then there’s the All Request Classic Pigout at noon, and I’m always interested in hearing what YOU’D like to hear. You can email me, or give me a buzz at 252-633-1065 or 866-484-1065 and pass along your song suggestions. After lunch, I’ve got the Live 1 at 1 – and there are lots of cool live tracks to dig up. Thursday is the busiest day of the week for me, because that’s when Theme Park Thursday happens during the Pigout. I provide you with the theme, and you come up with the songs that follow it. We’ll do stuff like songs with you and/or me in the title, cover songs, song titles that have to do with transportation, and you keep me hopping with your ideas during the entire lunch hour.

About me:

Hard to believe that I’ve been in radio for more than 30 years, and I’ve spent more than half that time here at WSFL! I am originally from Michigan, born in Detroit Rock City, and I’ve lived in FL, IN, NY and now NC, which is where I met my amazing, incredible, fabulous husband. It isn’t easy to find someone who can speak and understand entire conversations comprised of song lyrics, but he gives as good as he gets. Sometimes we spend an entire evening pulling up songs on You Tube to see how long it takes the other person to recognize it. We’re addicted to music, and also addicted to Jeopardy. We’re kinda dorky.

We’re a family of three with our fur baby, Poe. We rescued her from death row – it was love at first sight when we saw her beautiful face staring at us through the shelter fencing. She’s a black and white pit mix, and she is the queen of our castle. She loves my husband so much, that I think if she had thumbs and could wield a weapon……she would slay me and take her rightful place as his wife. I’m kidding, she loves me too……just not as much….lol.

Outside of music and radio, here’s what my husband and I are about: We love watching football, hockey and college hoops. We still take in the occasional NASCAR race, but it’s not the same without Dale Jr. We love to cook, we love to dine out, and obviously, we love to eat! TRAVEL is our passion, and we’re always planning our next trip. My husband listens to podcasts, and I probably need a second job to support my reading habit, I’ve loved to read since I was a little kid.
