Five Finger Death Punch have claimed a record 13th consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “The End,” which features Japanese rock band BABYMETAL. This marks FFDP’s 17th overall chart-topper, and extends the lengthiest No. 1 streak in the ranking’s history, which dates back to the Las Vegas metal band’s 2018 chart-topping hit, “Sham Pain.” While BABYMETAL, who are featured on the track, also made history by becoming the first Japanese and Asian-based act to reach No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. “The End,” originally from FFDP’s 2022 album, AfterLife, and re-recorded for their recent BEST OF (Volume 2) release, also climbed to No. 17 on the all-format Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, reflecting a 16% increase of 2.5 million audience impressions over the past week.
