Steve Perry has revealed that he is auctioning off items from his personal archives to support victims of the recent California wildfires through the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. Teaming up with Darkives Collectibles – a new archival memorabilia platform from George Harrison’s son Dhani and Dark Horse Records – Perry’s auction features over 50 items, including handwritten Journey lyrics, platinum records, and vintage merchandise. The auction will run until June 13, with all proceeds going towards providing aid to those affected by the Los Angeles fires. “I’m excited to open up my personal archives and give fans who have supported me through the years a chance to own a piece of my musical journey,” the 76-year-old Perry said in a statement. “Most importantly, all the proceeds from this archive sale will go to support victims of the Los Angeles fires with the help of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. Let’s help make a difference together.” (Rolling Stone)
