LYNYRD SKYNYRD recently had to cancel some shows due to an undisclosed medical emergency that involved GARY ROSSINGTON.

RONNIE JAMES DIO returns to the stage soon…..sort of. The departed DIO will be a hologram! The “Dio Returns” tour is slated to kick off later this month, featuring the hologram with a backing band called the Dio Disciples. Wendy Dio, in a recent interview, says that there are some unreleased tunes in the vault, and there could be a book coming in 2018.

“Dr. Demento Covered in Punk” comes out in January.  It’s a two-disc set of punk covers of classic songs from the “Dr. Demento Show”, including “Fish Heads” and “Dead Puppies” . . . covered by such artists as Weird Al YankovicWilliam Shatner and the B-52s.

ANTHONY KIEDIS of the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS was asked if he saw recent nude photos of FLEA on a hotel balcony in Rio.  His reply?  He’s been seeing Flea naked since he was 15, so no big deal.

BONO has responded to being named in a new report about rich people allegedly evading taxes.  He says he’s been told everything he’s done is above board, but if it’s not, he wants to know about it ASAP.
