The list of banned items from a recent FOO FIGHTERS show in New Zealand included bizarre things like “Unflattering photos of Ryan Seacrest”, “derogatory press clippings of Shania Twain”, and “any pencil that isn’t a number two pencil.”

There were a lot of classic rockers, and classic rock tunes, featured in ads during the Super Bowl, but there’s one you didn’t get to see unless you were visiting Arizona. ALICE COOPER starred in a commercial for Desert Financial Credit Union in Phoenix. Why did they choose him? Well, the name was Desert Schools Credit Union, but they changed it, and took the word “Schools” out. So…….

BEATLES fans, take note. A new documentary called The Beatles in India, is set to be released sometime this year. It follows the band on their trek through India in 1968.

DEE SNIDER is continuing work on a new solo album.

Eyellusion, the group behind the “Dio Returns” hologram tour, featuring a virtual RONNIE JAMES DIO, is now tackling FRANK ZAPPA. “The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa” hologram tour should be on the road late this year.

METALLICA is once again teaming up with the San Francisco Giants for the 6th Annual Metallica Night at AT&T Park. It’s happening on April 23. The band will participate various events and activities, including the National Anthem.
