CHRIS CORNELL’s widow Vicky says the rest of the guys in SOUNDGARDEN never reached out to her after he died.  Vicky and the band are currently battling in court over unpaid royalties and seven unreleased recordings Chris made before his death.   

DAVID CROSBY is now critiquing fans’ joints on Twitter.  He called one “a snake who swallowed a bowling ball” . . . and said of another, quote, “Beautiful even though it is the size of a small sex toy.” 

When JOURNEY singer STEVE PERRY quit, he signed away his rights to the name, but he got a LOT in return. Basically, he co-owned the rights to the name “Journey” along with guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain.  For their first two tours without him, he got 50% of what Neal or Jon made, whichever was higher.  Then he got 25% for their third tour, and 12.5% for EVERY tour after that.That includes any profits they’ve made from ticket sales, merchandise, and sponsorships.  And he made the same deal for any albums they release, so he still makes money on those. 

JOEY BELLADONNA of ANTHRAX has a JOURNEY tribute band called JOURNEY BEYOND, and they played their first gig on Friday night.
