According to son Jack Osbourne, a biopic about the early years of OZZY OSBOURNE is in the works.

An unreleased PAUL MCCARTNEY/RINGO STARR demo is being auctioned off to benefit UK COVID-19 relief efforts. The song is called “Angel in Disguise”, and it was written and recorded for Ringo’s 1992 album “Time Takes Time”, but it didn’t make the cut. The lucky winner gets two versions of the song on a glorious Maxell cassette tape!!!

The same day BRIAN JOHNSON auditioned to replace BON SCOTT as AC/DC‘s lead singer, he recorded the jingle for a Hoover vacuum cleaner commercial. Apparently, he wasn’t that confident about AC/DC, because he was 32 and, quote, “an old fart.”  Plus, the Hoover gig paid around 700 bucks.But his audition blew the band away, and he was announced as their new lead singer on April 1st, 1980.  That same month, his Hoover commercial aired, and to this day, no vacuum cleaner has risen to that level of coolness again.

METALLICA is encouraging fans to volunteer at food banks and give back to their communities. They’ve done something similar in previous years in the month of May . . . but obviously, the pandemic has created even more need in the world. 

“Rise Up New York!”, a benefit for New Yorkers affected by the coronavirus, will air live on May 11th on CNBC. Hosted by Tina Fey, plus Jimmy Fallon, Robert De Niro, and Jennifer Lopez, the show will include performances by BON JOVI, BILLY JOEL, STING and more.
