METALLICA‘s S&M2 will be out on August 28, and they’ve shared an unboxing video of ROBERT TRUJILLO. He had some fun doing it – he filmed the video at the beach and showed off his surfing skills afterwards.

Coming September 25, a DVD from the ROLLING STONESSteel Wheels tour. The show features special guests AXL ROSE, ERIC CLAPTON and more. Check out the trailer.

This is pretty entertaining. It’s an interview with The BEATLES from 1962 where they speculated about their future. This was, obviously, before they became household names.  John Lennon said it would be “big-headed” to think they’d last 10 years. Paul McCartney was sure they couldn’t keep playing the same music until they’re 40.  George Harrison hoped to have enough money to go into business before they “flopped.”  And Ringo Starr always “fancied owning a string of ladies hair salons.”

U2 is donating $1.5 million to provide relief for the live music industry. 

LOU REED: NEW YORK, a 3CD/DVD/2LP Deluxe Edition, featuring  newly remastered sound, unreleased studio and live tracks, plus the DVD debut of “The New York Album” concert video, will be available from Rhino on September 25.

The MOTORHEAD masterpiece, “Ace Of Spades”, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will get deluxe editions releases on October 30.
