The virtual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 7th.  This year’s inductees are Depeche ModeThe Doobie BrothersWhitney HoustonNine Inch NailsThe Notorious B.I.G., and T-Rex, and a bunch of stars will talk about how these artists influenced them.

STEVIE NICKS dropped a new song called “Show Them the Way”.

This is interesting in the possible implications for live music. The NBA can exist in a bubble, so could music concerts?  The FLAMING LIPS are apparently going to play shows where everyone in the audience is in a giant, literal bubble. Back in June, they performed inside a bubble on “Colbert” . . . and now they’re apparently planning on doing actual concerts like that . . . with EVERYONE protected inside giant bubbles. Singer WAYNE COYNE said, quote, “It seems absurd, but . . . it’s becoming kind of serious and real. “We’re starting to get ready to do an actual show where . . . there’s three people in each of these space bubbles, and we play . . . two shows a night, and getting a big audience in there each time.”
