Diet Coke is doing a contest where you can nominate ‘everyday heroes’ from the pandemic. Or anyone who’s gone above and beyond in 2020, including parents, teachers, and co-workers. And three people will win a year’s supply of Diet Coke. Just to lift people’s spirits, someone in Calgary has been installing plaques on park benches with funny, FAKE facts about what happened there. Like one that says, “The first hamster to fly solo around the world took off from this spot in 1937.” And there was an UPROAR last week when the city started removing them. So now they’ve reversed that decision, and the plaques will stay. (You can read more of them here.) And finally………..
