Man Made Radio w/ Rhyan Recaps Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Paul Brown, Organizer of the Journey of Hope Breast Cancer Ride

According to the CDC, other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms. We visited with Paul Brown, organizer of the Journey of Hope Breast Cancer benefit ride, which took place last month in New Bern. He told us about the efforts the ride supports every year in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties.

Paul told us that organizing the ride has gotten easier, and once the call goes out, people are quick to respond

Even Dr. Anthony Fauci showed up! Not really…

So where does the money from the Journey of Hope Breast Cancer ride go?

Although Breast Cancer Awareness Month technically happens in October, there are events year round you can support to fight the disease

Paul says he looks forward to more rides to come, and talks about the inspiration behind the last 12 years of the ride
