A guy in Phoenix had to have part of his femur, hip, and glute muscle removed after a bone cancer diagnosis two years ago.  So just walking again was a huge ordeal.  But he used to run marathons.  So his goal was to finish one again . . . and he DID it. He spent 12-and-a-half hours walking 26.2 miles.  And his surgeon supported him by ALSO walking a marathon in San Diego while they video chatted.………. A cat in Oregon recently sniffed out a gas leak, and may have saved its owners’ lives.  They noticed it wouldn’t stop sniffing the valve connected to their fireplace……………And finally……….
